On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, the vibrant spirit of Christmas filled Government House as Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd, Governor General of St. Kitts and Nevis, hosted her second annual “Kitti-Vision Jingle Mingle” for the children of soldiers serving in the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF).
The festive atmosphere was palpable as children and their families gathered for an afternoon of joyous celebration. Traditional games, a cornerstone of St. Kitts and Nevis’ rich cultural heritage, filled the air with laughter and excitement. Guests enthusiastically participated in these cherished pastimes, fostering a sense of community and shared cultural pride.
Santa Claus, expertly portrayed by SSGT Payne M, made a grand entrance, bringing smiles to every child’s face. Each young guest received a special gift, creating lasting memories of holiday cheer and the magic of the season.
The success of this heartwarming event was a testament to the dedicated efforts of the planning committee, the hardworking staff at Government House, and the unwavering support of all servicemembers. Their collective commitment ensured a truly unforgettable experience for the children of the SKNDF.
