As the SKNDF continues its route clearance and damage assessment duties after the passage of Tropical Storm Ernesto. A joint team consisting of the SKN Regiment, Force Logistics and the JSOTT unit cleared roads in Upper Cayon and assisted persons in the Community with removing fallen trees from the side of homes.
Upon ensuring the entire island main road was cleared, a huge tree fell at the Seven Day Adventist Primary School during the storm that was blocking the entrance into the school and had to be cleared.
Mr Kevin Williams assisted the effort as he donated two (2) chainsaws to assist with the cutting as well as two (2) cases of water for the hard working men and women and the joint forces.
As we continue to serve the people of the Federation whether it be crime fighting or cleanup efforts such as these, we continue to thank the public for its support in helping us to accomplish our missions.
