Basseterre, St Kitts, March 31, 2025 (SKNDF): Members of the St Kitts- Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) participated in a Tactical Casualty Care and Evacuation Training with the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistant Team (LAMAT) 2025 Mission in St Kitts Nevis.
The sessions were conducted at the J.N. France General Hospital from March 24 to 28, 2025. The US Army and the Reserve Airmen from the 433rd Airlift Wing provided lessons and practical exercises with members of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, Coast Guard, and local paramedics.
This critical life-saving training included point of injury trauma care, casualty stabilization, and evacuation procedures. This hands-on, action-packed training was geared towards enhancing medical effectiveness and leveling up healthcare capabilities to the first repsonsders across St Kitts and Nevis.
