On Monday 19 August 2024, The Governor General of St Kitts & Nevis, Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd GCMG, JP who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the St Kitts Nevis Defence Force, hosted a Staff Development Session at the Defence Force Base, Camp Springfield.
The main presenter was a Psychotherapist, Dr. Paula Watson from the United Kingdom who conducted the session on the Value of Mindfulness and how it can be useful to soldiers with her family.
The attendees at the mindfulness session were the Staff of Government House as well as Major Kayode P. Sutton and the rank and file of the St Kitts Nevis Defence Force.
