Major Kayode Sutton, the Commander (Ag) of the St Kitts Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) met officially at the SKNDF Headquarters at Camp Springfield with Major Rodney Studer of the Florida National Guard (FLNG) based at the United States Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados to discuss the upcoming State partnership programs and Subject Matter Experts Exchanges (SMEE) between the two institutions.
The partnership between the SKNDF and FLNG dates back many decades, the main purpose and objective of the partnership is to build professional capacities and develop enhanced capabilities while sharing knowledge, expertise and experiences to develop best practices in ever changing challenges and dynamics of security landscape in the western hemisphere. Other focal points of discussion include intelligence capability collaboration and employment of new technologies to address emerging threats
